Ozone Therapy Centre is now located in Berova Klinik . Berova Klinik is in Caglayan district which is very close to the historic city centre of North Nicosia. This unique Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic has been registered with the Turkish Cypriot Ministry of Health as of January 2014. Dr. Kandemir Berova is the owner and responsible for the clinic.We always give our patients a warm welcome. The guest friendly Turkish Cypriot socio-culture has been preserved. Exterior architecture reflects 1950 s but internal design of the clinic meets the European standards.
Private parking area is available for up to 5 cars. People with disabilities can easily reach the inner parts of the clinic with the help of a ramp. Room doors are 110 cm width and allow easy transitions. Disabled toilet facility is available.
Clinic has a central heating system for the winter and is serving the best cooling system for the summer months. Our services are secured against possible power shortages with an automatic generator. Our patients enjoy a comfortable atmosphere with a central music system, including a modern interior design.The building has been intensively restored during the last months of 2013.
Ozone / Oxygen Therapy
Since the discovery of ozone by the German chemist Christian Friedrich Schönbein in 1840, its medical use has increased in different parts of the world; there is more interest from health professionals to know how it works and what are its benefits; the number of ozone therapists keeps growing all around the world; and an increasing number of patients are benefiting from it.
Pre-clinical research and clinical trials on the use of ozone therapy have been carried out in Cuba, Germany, Italy, Russia and other countries, with considerable scientific rigor, obtaining results that support its practice using different medical protocols. We express our most sincere recognition to Dr. Velio Bocci, Emeritus Professor of Physiology at the University of Siena, for the significant and important contributions he has made in favor of ozone therapy in the fields or research, teaching, information and patient care, to the point that within the ozone therapy history he must be considered as one of its most important pioneers.
Ozone is trivalent oxygen which is formed in the atmosphere by UV radiation, thus filtering out the sun’s dangerous UV radiation.
The bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal effects of ozone open up a wide range of indications for therapists.
If we refer to ozone therapy here, it is actually an ozone/oxygen mixture which is meant. The concentration for therapeutical applications is 0 – 80 µg/ml, and is used in particular for large and small autohaemo therapies, bag gassing, intestine insufflation, underpressure gassing and for the production of ozonized water.

The range from 0 - 80 µg/ml is most adequate for therapeutical purposes, and has been proven in daily practice for decades.
